As President of Danfoss A/S since 1996 and 25 years of seniority
with the company, Mr. Jørgen Clausen has been pivotal in leading the
company as a global frontrunner in research, development and production
of mechanical and electronic components and solutions. With
more than 21,000 employees worldwide, 61 factories in 25 countries
and 110 sales companies Danfoss A/S signify a global conglomerate.
Danfoss recently acquired a California company called Sea Recovery,
which produces drinking water systems for large sea vessels.
Dr. Paul Coleman, Vice President, Biogen Idec
As the Vice President & General Manager of Biogen Idec’s manufacturing
operations in Hillerød, Denmark, Dr. Paul Coleman was responsible
for the establishment of the full manufacturing operations from
the construction phase through to the commissioning and production
phases of the project as well as for the day-to-day relationships with
Danish local, regional and national authorities. From this experience,
he brings great insights to bilateral Danish and American business
strategies and subsidiary integration and implementation. He now
serves as Vice President, Government Affairs – International, responsible
for Biogen Idec’s government affairs in all countries outside of
the Unites States.

and took the company public. As an acclaimed author Mr.

Denmark's agenda for the 21st century”.
Keitaro Matsuda, Senior Economist, Union Bank of California
Mr. Matsuda monitors economic trends and developments focusing
on the economies in California and the United States. He provides
regular commentary on the economies through monthly reports and is
frequently quoted in the San Francisco Chronicle, San Diego Union

Friis Arne Petersen,Danish Ambassador to the US, Danish Embassy, Washington DC
Ambassador Friis Arne Petersen presented his credentials to
President Bush on October 3, 2005 as the Danish Ambassador to
the United States. Ambassador Petersen has had a distinguished and
outstanding career in the Danish Foreign Service, serving on the staff
of two Danish Foreign Ministers and holding various senior positions
as Permanent Secretary of State and Undersecretary.
